About

The Revival is an immersive and organic driven DayZ experience. Our mission is to create a mature community where people can enjoy playing the game without any griefing, toxic behavior, complicated rules, and/or pointless drama. The simple rules and guidelines are to enable everyone to have fun interactions and to play the game how they enjoy to play.

We encourage everyone to play the game as if they are truly in this post-apocalyptic world. RP is not 100% mandatory but is strongly encouraged. Immersion and organic roleplay is what the culture here is about. By only encouraging our players to interact with one another and to create stories, we keep the sandbox element of DayZ fully intact. There are no artificial rules that force you to interact in a certain way.

This is a post-apocalyptic zombie infested wasteland. Act accordingly and be prepared to protect yourself. Keep that BK-133 locked and loaded survivor.

Rules

SERVER RULES

GENERAL RULES

  • Don't be toxic. Respect other players and their playstyles. Think of everyone’s enjoyment of the game, not just your own.

  • KOS is allowed, but strongly discouraged. If you get KOS’d, please report it in #kos-report so we can make note of it.

  • Only one in-game nickname is allowed. This is for the identification system and RP purposes.

  • Your discord name must match your in-game nickname.

  • Alt accounts are not allowed and will result in a ban for all accounts.

  • No combat logging.

  • You must wait 30 minutes to return to your body if you die in an engagement. This includes if you die in your base during a raid.

  • No hacking, cheating, or using glitches. (This includes “Z Running” or “Moonwalking”).

BASE BUILDING

  • Each Faction, group or solo player may only have one base.

  • No more than 4 doors in any base. The max amount of walls required to get through is 4.

  • Bases must be realistic. No floating bases and no bases that defy gravity. Bases that don’t adhere to this will be subject to removal. When in doubt, ask a staff member.

  • No building in military zones, oil rigs, police stations, on roads/bridges, around a cement mixer, inside or within 500m of the Safe Zone, or inside the Dark Zone.

  • No water bases.

  • No crawl spaces or forcing players into an animation inside a base.

  • You are not allowed to block entrances with vehicles, items, or tents.

  • No taking over other bases, even if they seem abandoned. You cannot place codelocks on any base you are raiding. This will be considered griefing.

  • Storage Limit: We ask you to be reasonable with the amount of storage your group has. If it becomes a problem and server performance is noticeable around your base, staff will take action.

  • No burying guns.

BASE RAIDING

  • No boost raiding. Stacking 3 or more items to gain entry to a base is considered glitching.

  • No glitch raiding. This means gaining entry or exit to/from a base via in-game exploit or glitch such as forcing your character through solid objects. Example: Climbing a ladder and going through a wall.

  • Gaining entry through poor base design is allowed. However, if you become trapped you must F11.

  • Do not log out inside someone else’s base.

  • If you die during a raid, you are not allowed to return. If you are the base owner, you must wait 30 minutes after you die to return.

  • You can only raid the same base once a week.

  • No KOSing someone in their base unless you’re starting a raid.

  • A raid is considered 'started' when someone shoots inside your base, or a wall/door is destroyed.

  • You will not be banned for combat logging inside your base unless combat started outside of it.

THE SAFE ZONE

  • No killing or shooting someone inside the safe zone. EVER. Anyone doing this will result in an instant ban. No excuses. DPD are the only exception to this rule.

  • No stealing from other players or feeding them human meat.

  • No camping the Safe Zone.

  • No stealing vehicles of any kind (Boats, Rafts, Cars, Helis).

  • No using megaphones or excessive VOIP.

  • Unattended vehicles left in the Safe Zone will be deleted.

  • No building inside or around the Safe Zone.

  • You are never allowed inside the Safe Zone Faction’s base unless invited in. If you are found to be inside a Faction’s base without permission you will be banned.

  • Do not climb the perimeter walls.

FACTIONS

Deer Isle Police Department

The Deer Isle Police Department (DPD) was founded by a group of ex-military, battle hardened survivors. After years of wandering the chaotic lands, they stumbled upon Deer Isle and decided to make it their new home. Motivated more than ever, they formed the first ever post-apocalypse police force. The goal was to restore peace and order back into the world. The DPD provide a counter to the bandits, cannibals, and other savages roaming the land. They created the current Safe Zone to provide a safe haven for the survivors in the region. Members of FME and RTC were then brought in to help provide some stability. Now offering trading goods and medical knowledge, New Kopa is thriving more than ever. Determined to better the world and make a change, they formed a brotherhood...and thus, The Deer Isle Police Department was born.

Federation of Medical Experts

The Federation of Medical Experts was founded by Doctor K & Doctor Jo in the early days of the virus that ravaged the world nearly three years ago. Doctor K & Doctor Jo, both medical experts in their fields, used the experience they gained working with the likes of the World Health Organization, CDC, and over 35 years of combined field work to lay the foundation for the endeared medical organization known as the FME.

The FME brought with it life saving resources, treatment, and protection against the virus and ailments of everyday post-apocalyptic life. Whether near or far, highly trained, and trusted medical staff would meet survivors where they were to save their lives. Efforts to find a cure had begun, but were halted due to a mutation in the virus that took even more lives. Still, the search for a cure continues, and research efforts started by Doctor K continue to this day.

Since its inception, the FME has saved over 500 lives, provided countless medical supplies, and conducted several humanitarian efforts in the face of an ever changing virus and world. With a new facility inside the Safe Zone, FME has gained the ability to expand its services and range to reach even more survivors in need, and thus the FME’s presence is felt.  What started off as a collaborative pet project for Doctor K and Doctor Jo, has become the saving grace for survivors everywhere.

Whether you’ve fallen and can’t get up; eaten the last of your tactical bacon; have a cough that won’t go away; just in need someone to talk to; or require additional medical supplies — whatever your needs…The FME will be there.
